Preparing your civic view
OurCivic collects only the information needed to route missions, prevent abuse, verify participation, and coordinate visible progress.
We collect account and civic profile details such as name, state, district, locality, email, and mobile verification status. Public display fields are shown only where the user or expert has given consent.
Aadhaar/VID verification, when enabled through a compliant provider, is used only as a one-time voter verification layer. Raw Aadhaar/VID values must not be stored in Postgres, logs, local storage, analytics, or URLs.
Reports and verification responses may include GPS metadata, timestamps, and evidence metadata. Raw media is stored privately and reviewed through controlled access, not exposed directly on public pages.
Sensitive actions create audit records so moderators and administrators can protect the integrity of missions, votes, evidence, expert reviews, and completion decisions.
